Sar’s approach to therapy integrates somatic and psychodynamic modalities, with a strong foundation in process-oriented psychotherapy, parts work, and embodied cognition. She works with body symptoms and emotional patterns as messages from within — similar to Internal Family Systems and Jungian-informed parts-based frameworks.
Holistic Counselling & Process-Oriented Psychotherapy
Holistic Counselling and Process-Oriented Psychotherapy support the unfolding of your life’s unique journey, attending with curiosity and care to the deeper layers of your lived experience. This approach honours the soulful, complex, and often unseen parts of ourselves—those that may be pushed to the margins, ignored, or simply forgotten in the rush of daily life.
Sar’s approach to counselling is a natural extension of her work with the body. Rooted in presence and openness, her sessions welcome all that arises. Together, you will explore the interconnectedness of soma (body) and psyche (mind/soul), cultivating greater self-awareness and expanding the inner landscape that supports both your internal world and outer life to thrive.
Psychotherapy can help you navigate emotional and psychological challenges, foster resilience, and support personal growth. Sar provides a warm, non-judgmental, and confidential space where you can safely explore your thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and life experiences. Through this process, she will gently guide you toward deeper insight, supportive strategies, and meaningful change.

Somatic Psychotherapy
Sar’s deep connection to the body is central to her psychotherapeutic work. Her sessions are rooted in Somatic Psychotherapy, an approach that recognises the body not just as a container of experience, but as a wise and active participant in the healing process.
“Somatic” refers to the lived experience of the body. Its sensations, emotions, and the ways it holds our stories, both conscious and unconscious. This approach integrates mind and body, acknowledging how our emotions, thoughts, and behavioural patterns are expressed through our physical being.
Sessions may include gentle movement, breathwork, and mindfulness practices to deepen body awareness. By tuning into sensations, tension patterns, and movement impulses, clients are invited to access insight, release stored trauma, and restore a more integrated sense of self.
Two-Hour Integration Sessions
Sar also offers a unique, immersive experience that combines psychotherapy with bodywork. These two-hour integration sessions begin with one hour of Somatic or Process-Oriented Psychotherapy, followed by one hour of bodywork (such as therapeutic massage or hands-on integration).
This extended format offers space for both emotional processing and physical integration - supporting the body to receive, embody, and metabolise the insights and shifts that arise in session. It's a deeply nourishing way to bridge the therapeutic experience with embodied rest, grounding you before returning to your day.
